Bègles Garonne, an ecological and green neighborhood project.

The EPA Bordeaux Euratlantique announces the choice of the group [germe&JAM, Bruel-Delmar, Alto Step, Atelier Nathalie Roussel, AEU, ETC, ISL, Alphaville and Scène publique] for the development of the Bègles-Garonne sector.

As part of the development of the Bègles Garonne sector, the Public Development Establishment (EPA) Bordeaux Euratlantique, the City of Bègles and Bordeaux Métropole have selected a project management team composed of the urban planner germe&JAM, the Bruel-Delmar landscape workshop, the Urban Planning, VRD and Environment design office Alto Step, the Nathalie Roussel Workshop, the AEU Urban Ecology Workshop, the ISL hydraulic engineering office, Alphaville for programming, ETC for mobility and Scène Publique, lighting designer.

The EPA appreciated the good understanding of the project management's expectations in terms of urban, architectural and landscape strategy, in the three sub-sectors with marked identities: the Sembat district in the north, a residential area of houses and shops historic sites, the “IBA” sector, an industrial and artisanal space to the south, where the activity will remain, and the engineering structure known as “the estacade”, a road structure overlooking the Garonne. This strategy is also in line with the EPA roadmap: designing sustainable, desirable and democratized city neighborhoods.
